EASTER HOLIDAYS IN EXOTIC PLACES!
At Easter the Loiners took their motorhome out for the first time (overnight) in the year and went to the Alps or was it the Pyrenees or could it have been Switzerland or Norway?
No it was North Wales (or Cymru to the locals). The weather was beautiful, continuous sunshine and warm (not like Portugal we understand!). It was like a holiday in a foreign country - the indigenous people spoke their own language among themselves, and even the road signs were in Welsh. We went on a mountain railway or Cymdeithas Rheilffordd Eryri as the locals said -
and even visited a beach - no swimming though, the sea was far too cold!
The camping site we stayed on in Caernarfon was the best we had visited so far, and our camping car operated without a hitch - we are getting well practised at using all the equipment. Our next trip will be to the grey North Sea on the East Coast of Yorkshire for the MayDay Weekend.
