The Loiners recently paid a visit to the ancient edifice of Ripley castle. We just went for the day in our camping-car (we had soup and sausages for lunch in it). It was a beautiful winter day - the sky was blue and the sun shone all day. Here is a picture of the castle and its famous 'wind-clock'. We went for a walk around the lake and the deer park - the deer were hiding!
The park is famous for its 1000 year old oak trees - here are a few pictures of them - along with some other beings who are not quite that old yet.
